Pre-op Classes for Joint Replacement Patients                                                                       

We have found that Pre-op classes are helpful to attend in preparation for this elective procedure.  We will discuss joint replacement basics, what you need to do before surgery, the day of surgery, expectations for after surgery and discharge planning information. Questions are taken throughout the class. 

Registration is required as classes fill quickly and class times and dates are subject to change.

Please email your name, date of surgery, surgeon, phone number and the date of the class you wish to attend to RegisterS@mlhs.org , Sharon Register RN, Joint Replacement Program Manager. 

You will receive a confirmation email that includes the location of the class.

Please note:
You need only attend one class; duration of the class is one to one and a half hours. 
Garage and valet parking is validated.

For Hip Replacement Patients:
Classes are on Mondays
1st Monday of the month at 1:30pm
2nd Monday of the month at 11 am
3rd Monday of the month at 5pm

For Knee Replacement Patients:
Classes are on Wednesdays
1st Wednesday of the month at 1:30pm
2nd Wednesday of the month at 1:30pm
3rd Wednesday of the month at 5pm
