Outpatient Network Adding 9th Rehabilitation Site
For Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy

Exton, Pa. - Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital's Outpatient Rehab Services, which provides physical, occupational and speech therapy services for adults and adolescents, is opening a new location in October in Exton at 495 Thomas Jones Way, Suite 100. 

The Exton location will be operated by Bryn Mawr Rehab Outpatient Network, which now offers physical, occupational and speech therapy services at eight convenient locations in Philadelphia's western suburbs -- in Audubon, Broomall, Bryn Mawr, Collegeville, Malvern, Newtown Square, Paoli and Wynnewood. 

"Our new location makes it possible to offer families in the Exton area the same high-quality outpatient therapy services they have come to expect from Bryn Mawr Rehab Outpatient Network," said Mimi Stachowski, network administrator.  Six of the nine sites offer rehabilitation services for patients of all ages, including children.  All sites offer early morning and late evening appointments as well as free parking. 

"We have the necessary resources to help patients reach optimal function quickly, comfortably and cost-effectively," Stachowski said.  "The network's therapists work closely with physicians and insurance carriers to develop treatment plans that give patients the best possible chance of fully returning to their everyday lives after an injury or illness."

In addition to physical, occupational and speech therapy, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital's Outpatient Rehab Services at Exton plans to provide acute work-injury rehabilitation and sports medicine.  Illnesses and injuries treated will include joint replacement, stroke, amputations, arthritis, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis and other neurological and musculoskeletal problems.
