A Leader in Clinical Care, Teaching and Research
 Established in 1860, Lankenau Hospital is an acute-care teaching hospital with an affiliated medical research center on campus.
Lankenau's nationally-recognized specialty services include: an award-winning Heart Center; a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit;
an accredited Sleep Medicine Center and a Cancer Center. The Lankenau Hospital Kidney Transplant Program is the only program
of its kind in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. The Lankenau Institute for Medical Research supports an active program
of basic medical research into aging and diseases of aging, and reviews more than 200 clinical research projects underway
at the hospital. more
Lankenau Hospital Ranked in the Top One Percent in Patient Care
 Premier Healthcare Alliance has awarded Lankenau Hospital its Premier Award for Quality (AFQ). Only 26 hospitals out of 3,800 nationally received that distinction.

The Lankenau Hospital Breast Care Center offers women a comprehensive and integrative approach to breast health. The Breast
Care Center comprises dedicated specialists in breast imaging, breast surgery, and medical and radiation oncology as well
as genetics, nursing, nutrition and social work. Women are guided through this multidisciplinary program by a nurse coordinator,

heart bypasses than any other center in Southeastern Pennsylvania and is the only hospital in the state to have lower than
