At Barclay Square Adult Day Services we believe in providing quality and professional care for adults, age 18 and over, with functional and physical impairments. We offer meaningful and structured activities that keep our participants engaged, active and looking forward to coming each day. Over the years, we have enriched the lives of many adults and their families and work to support families that want to stay together longer.

Our Center, located in the Barclay Square Shopping Center in Upper Darby, is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The early morning and evening hours makes this an ideal option for working families.

Special Features
In addition to the services provided at Adult Day Services, we have two programs for adults. The Independence Program is for individuals who are physically impaired due to Parkinson's disease, cardiac or pulmonary disease, arthritis or multiple sclerosis. The Memory Program is designed for individuals with memory impairments.

The nursing services that we provide enable individuals to receive assistance with healthcare needs, education and training. If needed, we will administer medications and also teach the participants self-administration, if its appropriate. We offer wound care, diabetes monitoring, respiratory treatments, nutrition monitoring and rehab services. We design and tailor exercise programs to address the physical needs of our participants. We also have a Music Therapist on staff.

Our professional staff can assist caregivers and families by providing education and helping to access and arrange other supportive services. There are also many opportunities for caregivers and family members to attend events and functions, such as special breakfasts, teas, open houses, parties, lectures and support groups.

Our professionally trained Family Services Director will assist families with the enrollment process, transportation and funding.

Barclay Square Adult Day Services is conveniently located in the Barclay Square Shopping Center, Upper Darby, behind the Health and Fitness Center.

From the North: Head south on Lansdowne Avenue. Turn left onto Garrett Road and turn right into the Barclay Square Shopping Center.

From the South: Head north on Lansdowne Avenue. Turn right onto Garrett Road and turn right into Barclay Square Shopping Center.

From the East: Head southwest on Garrett Road and turn left into the Barclay Square Shopping Center.

From the West: Head northeast on Garrett Road and turn right into the Barclay Square Shopping Center.
