MLH - Med Ed - General Information

Graduate Medical Education at Main Line Health in the Philadelphia suburbs. The programs listed below accept applications using the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges, unless otherwise noted. This innovative service uses the internet to transmit residency applications, letters of recommendation, Dean's Letters, transcripts, and other supporting credentials from the medical schools to the Residency Program Directors at Main Line Health Hospitals.

All residency and fellowship appointments are made for a period of one year. On the basis of satisfactory performance, individuals are eligible for yearly re-appointment until the period of education for qualification by the respective specialty boards has been completed.

Family Practice:	4 complete positions for 1st through 3rd postdoctoral years Please submit your application via ERAS
Internal Medicine:	13 positions for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd postdoctoral years 12 Preliminary one-year positions Please submit your application via ERAS
OB/GYN:	3 complete positions for the 1st through 4th postdoctoral years Please submit your application via ERAS
Radiology:	4 complete positions for the 2nd through 5th postdoctoral years Please submit your application via ERAS
Surgery:	2 complete positions for the 1st through 5th postdoctoral years 4 Preliminary one-year positions Please submit your application via ERAS

Fellowships...

Cardiology, Hematology/Oncology, and Gastroenterology accept applications via ERAS and participate in the NRMP Specialty Match.

Cardiac Electrophysiology and Interventional Cardiology do not accept applications via ERAS nor do they participate in the NRMP Specialty Match at this time. In 2009 our Interventional program will begin accepting applications to the program through ERAS. Please contact (610) 645-2682 for application materials.

Nephrology does not accept applications via ERAS nor does the program participate in the NRMP Specialty Match. Please contact Roni Roller at (610) 645-2525 for application materials.
