Nursing is not your typical 40-hour a week job...and for most nurses, the typical Monday-to-Friday, 9-to-5 routine is hard to balance with work, family, school and social
obligations. That's why Main Line Hospitals offers a wide variety of flexible staffing options and work schedules at each
of our hospitals (Lankenau, Bryn Mawr and Paoli) to fit YOUR busy lives and lifestyles.
Full-time and Part-time Positions are available with 4-, 8- and 12-hour shifts in many clinical specialities.
Weekend Program Nurses utilize their nursing skills and earn premium pay by working weekends. These 12-hour shift positions require schedulng
2, 3, or 4 weekends out of each 4-week period. Beyond the weekends, nurses can work additional hours at our competitive per
diem rates. Nurses that work 3 and 4 weekends out of each 4-week period are eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits
and tuition.
Per Diem Main Line Hospital's unit, hospital-based and resource per diem programs promote both personal and professional goals. The
environment allows nurses to use their skills and earn premium pay while maintaining flexible schedules in the setting they
are most comfortable in.
Resource Offers Full Time and Part Time benefit eligible positons with pay incentives to work across the three Acute Care campuses
in your clinical speciality.
Professional Nurse Internship New graduates can transition to their profession and gain valuable full-time experiences in most clinical specialities. These
evening and night-shift positions offer a comprehensive benefits package, competitive pay and shift differential. Main Line
Hospitals offer all new graduates a precepted orientation which is based on the clinical speciality and the individual learning
needs of the new graduate. On-going supervised training and educational opportunities are provided to the staff during this
transition and after orientation.
Professional Nurse Externship Nursing students who have completed at least one clinical rotation will enjoy gaining patient car experience through this
program. Part-time rotating schedules are available on all shifts with flexibility to meet your needs. Positions are available
in most clinical specialities. These are exceptional opportunities to prepare for the clinical setting after graduation.
