About Laura Peters...
Laura Peters, RN, OCN is an oncology nurse with expertise working with women of all ages on breast health and care, as well as other women's health issues. Formerly on staff at the prestigious Cleveland Clinc Foundation's Hematology/Oncology Unit and Taussig Cancer Center, she fully understands the need for attending not only to a patient's medical treatment, but emotional and spiritual needs as well.

Laura's holistic viewpoint and experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings make her the ideal patient advocate to guide a patient throughout all stages of evaluation, treatment and follow-up care. She is an understanding "people person".

Laura's duties includ facilitation of medical management, education and emotional support. She places heavy emphasis on quality of life, including pain and symptom management.

She is a graduate of Grove City College in Grove City, PA with a BS in Business Management. Laura then received her degree in Nursing from the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA, where she was honored with the Sister Schallenberger Nursing Excellence Award. She is certified in oncology nursing.
