Physical Medicine specialists work in concert with therapists to offer services both on the nursing units and in the department. Specialty programs, including inpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation, inpatient cardiac rehabilitation and Hand Therapy, are also offered.

In Speech Pathology, Speech/Language pathologists provide evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders, including videofluoroscopic swallowing studies, and x-ray imaging of the swallowing process. Emphasis is placed on patient and family education to ensure the continuum of care.
