Giving Opportunities Where Your Gift is Needed

About Paoli Hospital <
Giving Opportunities <
We especially appreciate gifts to the Paoli Hospital Foundation that are not designated for a specific program or area, as these give us the flexibility to put the money where it can have
the greatest impact. This ensures Paoli Hospital's ability to meet unexpected needs and pursue new opportunities-an essential
part of delivering the most up-to-date health care to an ever-growing population.
Other giving priorities include the following:
- Capital Campaign and new Patient Care Pavilion: The new $145 million Patient Care Pavilion is the largest expansion in Paoli Hospital's history and our most ambitious undertaking
to date. Not only will the Pavilion double our current square footage, helping us meet the ever-growing health care demands
of our community, but it also will enable us to incorporate the newest technologies and design practices that are revolutionizing
medicine. Your gift to our $16.5 million capital campaign, Building Paoli Hospital. One story at a time, will help support
this important project.
- Community Services: Since initiating our Community Services Department a decade ago, Paoli Hospital has made a dramatic impact on the health
and wellness of our community. Programs range from childbirth education, smoking cessation, and elder care to nutrition and
exercise programs for low-income children. Your gift will ensure that community members have access to the newest knowledge,
preventive care, and screenings that can help them lead healthy lives and avoid serious illness.
- Nursing Education: Paoli has been designated a Magnet® Hospital by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center, which is the highest mark of excellence
any hospital's nursing service can achieve. On average, a Paoli Hospital nurse has 15 years of clinical experience, and 26.2
percent of our registered nurses have professional certification in their fields of specialty. Private support enables Paoli
Hospital to give these exceptional nurses every opportunity to advance their training and education.
- Cancer Center: As an affiliate of the Fox Chase Network, the Cancer Center at Paoli Hospital offers innovative technology and sophisticated,
comprehensive oncology care within our community. Every year, gifts to the Paoli Hospital Foundation ensure that people with
cancer can access the most advanced diagnostic procedures, treatments, and support close to home, rather than having to travel
long distances. The Cancer Center also provides free wigs and family support services to those who need them.
- Emergency Department: Our Emergency Department is here to respond to the emergency medical needs of our community 24 hours a day, every day of
the year. We treated more than 31,000 patients last year in an ED designed for just 18,000 patients. The new Patient Care
Pavilion will feature a larger ED that better accommodates such demand. In the meantime, private support can strengthen our
current ED's capacity to meet ever-increasing needs.
