Building for the Future

(Paoli, PA: February 2008)--Through wintry winds and swirling snow, the construction of our new Patient Care Pavilion continues. Workers placed the final steel beam on the building in November. Thee installation of the exterior skin of the building, as well as the parking garage connector bridge, will continue through the spring. Once the building is fully enclosed, interior work will begin to outfit the building with the newest advances in patient care.

We will double the size of the hospital when the project is completed in early summer 2009.

The New Patient Care Pavilion will include:

• 126 New Private Rooms
• A larger, more accessible Emergency Department
• 4 New Operating Rooms 
• A 3-story arrival and lobby area with an enclosed walkway to our 737-space parking garage
